Dear Fellow devotees:

As we enter the summer months, there is a pause in the activities at the temple. However, daily routines continue and weekends are fairly busy. Construction and maintenance works are going on uninterrupted.

The parents and teachers of Bala Vihar are continuing their preparations for children's summer camp from July 13th to 16th. For new students, registration for the coming academic year is presently underway, and will continue until September 1, 2008. Classes will start on Sunday, August 10th.

August 10th will be a family day at the temple. In addition to Bala Vihar classes, there will be a Saraswati Pooja for all children in Siva temple. We are working to have two separate groups, one for children, ages, 3-6 and the second one for children, 7 and above. If you would like to have your child to participate in the pooja, please enquire in the manager's office for more details. Temple gift shop is planning a special sale that day. Food committee is also planning a surprise item that day.

Many times, devotees who have encountered difficulties, come to the temple to offer prayers for the welfare of their families. The temple has just started a free Kutumba Samkshema Archana program. Every Sunday, the 4 PM Balaji archana and the 4 30 PM Siva archana will be free of charge. You do not need a ticket for the archana.

We have started working on the Bricks Sponsorship program. If you would like to participate in the program, please contact the office or Sri Narender Reddy, at ngreddy9@aol.com

Due to the increasing gasoline prices, the IRS has increased mileage rates. When temple priests come to your home for a pooja, please reimburse them at the new rate of 60c/mile. These new rates are effective July 1st.

There are many ways you can help the temple meet its mission and goals. If you would like to help, please contact me at pravisarma@hotmail.com. You may call me at 678 313 0646 (my cell)

As always, thank you for your support of the temple and its activities.

Hari Om.

Brick Sponsorship Program: Once construction of the new Yaga Saala is completed, commemorative bricks will be installed on the walkway from the siva temple parking lot, leading to the temples. Up to 3,000 bricks will be needed for this work. So far, about 700 bricks have been sponsored. Please contact the office manger at 770 907 7102 or Narender Reddy at ngreddy9@aol.com and help us with this project.
